Aside from relishing the delectable food that was diligently prepared by the sous-chefs, I thoroughly enjoyed the meaningful conversations I had with the individuals in my table while celebrating the past and upcoming OCSHP officers. For a second year student, OCSHP’s 41st Annual Night with Industry and Installation Ceremony became an excellent avenue for building new relationships and fostering existing ones.

Among the new friendships made were with Dr. Tony Dao, Dr. Tony Park, and Dr. Paideia Le—representatives from OCPhA. It was very refreshing and encouraging to see the different local organizations supporting each other. In addition, I was able to build my relationship with fellow students as I was seated with familiar faces from Western University. As a future health care professional, the exposure to an event like this one, especially one that is held in the lovely Giracci Vineyard, is truly enjoyable and beneficial.
